SHANGHAI TEA HOUSE

Closing off 2016 with some delicious dim sum! I am in Adelaide, Australia currently and decided to try out Shanghai Tea House. This Chinese restaurant with a wide selection of tea and dim sum items.

Max and I rode here one day for lunch. They have plenty of seating both inside and out, so although it was fairly busy, getting a table was no trouble. I found the tea menu a little confusing, as each page would have a type of tea listed (ex. green tea) highlighting the benefits, but then there would be three sub-categories of that tea with no further explanation. So at that point I was just choosing at random.

We chose a couple dishes, spring rolls, dim sum, pork buns, etc. and enjoyed our tea in the meantime. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time. We were really pleased with the quality of everything. Special mention to the dim sum and pork bun dishes which were my favourite!

I will definitely be back in the near future to try out some other items on the menu.
