InspirAsian Foods is a small dumpling shop in Toronto's west end. They feature handmade dumplings of several flavours, as well as soups, noodles and sandwiches. Inside the shop is decorated elegantly, with wood décor and greenery.
We just stopped in for a quick bite while my bike was getting repaired, so Max and I got ten pork and bok choy dumplings to split. They came out in a takeaway box with a side of salad.
We were planning to eat in, but the only seating in the place was one bench with no table. It was a bit tricky to hold the box and eat, especially sharing between two people.
The dumplings were excellent! You could really tell that they were handmade from the taste. The side of salad was a nice touch.
InspireAsian also sells their dumplings frozen for you to take home and cook yourself. I would have purchased some had I had a way to carry them home on my bike. If I had one criticism of the place, it would be the lack of tables as we would have liked to sit and stay longer.
