Summer may be over, but that does not mean I will be eating any less ice cream. Moji Japanese Eatery is a quirky restaurant in Unionville. It was on my list of places to try, but I had not been planning to go there today. That is until I heard they were giving out free ice cream!
Moji Japanese Eatery is a cozy restaurant with bright colours and mismatched furniture. The vibe was very casual and suitable for all ages. In terms of the free ice cream offer, there was only one option, "Supernormal Oreo". What that consists of is taro ice cream in a waffle cone, and heaps of toppings. Oreos, marshmallows and whipped cream were among some of the toppings.
The ice cream itself was really good, but I think they overdid it with the toppings. There were these chewy candies that I was not particularly fond of, but the rest of the toppings on their own I enjoyed. It looked great for the photo, but there was just a little too much going on for my taste buds.
But then again. can you really say anything bad about free ice cream? Their other food options looked great as well so I will definitely be back to try some of those!
