MONTREAL TRIP DAY 3: AYCE SUSHI

Day 3 was set to be the shortest day of the trip, with our destination of Brockville 85km away. Today was my favourite day so far for many reasons.
Firstly, the scenery was beautiful. It began through rolling hills of farmland in the surrounding regions of Kingston, and led us to the "Thousand Islands Parkway". The parkway stretches 40km and goes right along the waterfront, allowing you to see the islands as you go by. There was a newly renovated recreation path alongside that made for a ride with no bumps (literally). We stopped several times along here to take pictures and soak in the scenery.
It took us just under 4 hours to get to Brockville. We checked into our Airbnb as soon as we arrived, and I have to mention how amazing our host Roz was! If you are looking for a place to stay in Brockville, send me a message and I will give you her details as I can not recommend her enough. She went above and beyond expectations and made us feeling like we were right at home. She was another part of what made this day so great.
After we were checked in, we set out for food. Good old Google Maps helped us find Kochi Sushi. This AYCE sushi joint was reasonably priced at $14 (and all prices are $1 less if you pay cash!) for lunch. The menu featured over 100 items of maki rolls, soups, rice dishes and the usual appetizers and entrees. We arrived just before their lunchtime ended and stayed past, but we were not rushed or cutoff as I had feared we might be.
Service was excellent with food coming out quickly. There was not one item we ordered that we did not like. I feeling like a trader saying this, but I think I prefered Kochi Sushi to my regular AYCE sushi spot at home.
Let's see what day 4 has in store for us!
